সম্ভ্রমে দুঁহে উঠি' দণ্ডবৎ হৈলা ।
দুঁহে আলিঙ্গিয়া প্রভু আসনে বসিলা ॥ ৯৫ ॥

sambhrame duhhe uthi' danḍavat haila

duhhe alihgiya prabhu asane vasila

SYNONYMS

sambhrame-with great respect; duhhe-Haridasa Thakura and Rūpa Gosvami; uthi'-standing up; danḍavat haila-fell down to offer obeisances; duhhe-the two of them; alihgiya-embracing; prabhu-Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; asane vasila-sat down on a seat.

TRANSLATION

As soon as Haridasa Thakura and Rūpa Gosvami saw the Lord coming, they both stood up and then fell down to offer Him their respectful obeisances. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu embraced them both and then sat down.
