আজ্ঞামালা পাঞা আমার হইল আনন্দ ।
তাহাঁই করিনু এই গ্রন্থের আরম্ভ ॥ ৭৭ ॥

ajna-mala pana amara ha-ila ananda

tahaṅi karinu ei granthera arambha

SYNONYMS

ajna-mala-the garland of order; pana-receiving; amara-my; ha-ila-became; ananda-great pleasure; tahaṅi-then and there; karinu-attempted; ei-this; granthera-of Caitanya-caritamrta; arambha-beginning.

TRANSLATION

I was greatly pleased to have the garland signifying the order of the Lord, and then and there I commenced to write this book.
