নমস্কার করিতে, কা'র উপরেতে চড়ে ।
প্রেমে কা'রে বংশী মারে, কাহাকে চাপড়ে ॥ ১৬৪ ॥

namaskara karite, ka'ra uparete cade

preme ka're vamsi mare, kahake capade

SYNONYMS

namaskara karite-while offering obeisances, bowing down; ka'ra-of someone; uparete-on the body; cade-gets up; preme-in ecstatic love; ka're-someone; vamsi-the flute; mare-strikes; kahake-someone; capade-slaps.

TRANSLATION

In a joyful mood of love of God he sometimes climbed upon the shoulder of someone offering obeisances, and sometimes he struck others with his flute or mildly slapped them.
