পূর্বে ভাল ছিল এই নিমাই পণ্ডিত ।
গয়া হৈতে আসিয়া চালায় বিপরীত ॥ ২০৬ ॥

purve bhala chila ei nimai pandita

gaya haite asiya calaya viparita

SYNONYMS

purve-before this; bhala-very good; chila-was; ei-this; nimai pandita-of the name Nimai Pandita; gaya-Gaya (a place of pilgrimage); haite-from; asiya-coming; calaya-conducts; viparita-just the opposite.

TRANSLATION

"'Nimai Pandita was previously a very good boy, but since He has returned from Gaya He conducts Himself differently.
