'দ্বিতীয়' শব্দ-বিধেয়, তাহা পড়িল সমাসে ।
'লক্ষ্মীর সমতা' অর্থ করিল বিনাশে ॥ ৬০ ॥

'dvitiya' sabda-vidheya, taha padila samase

'laksmira samata' artha karila vinase

TRANSLATION

"Because the word dvitiya [second] is the unknown, in its combination in this compound word the intended meaning of equality with Laksmi is lost.
