সেই জল স্কন্ধে করে শাখাতে সঞ্চার ।
ফলে-ফুলে বাড়ে,-শাখা হইল বিস্তার ॥ ৭ ॥

sei jala skandhe kare sakhate sancara

phale-phule bade,-sakha ha-ila vistara

SYNONYMS

sei jala-that water; skandhe-on the branches; kare-does; sakhate-on the sub-branches; sancara-growing; phale-phule-in fruits and flowers; bade-increases; sakha-the branches; ha-ila-became; vistara-widespread.

TRANSLATION

As the trunk and branches were watered, the branches and sub-branches spread lavishly, and the tree grew full with fruits and flowers.
