Pratisrutam cha bhavata panchalyai srinwata mama

Aharisheya siras tasya yaste manini putraha.

ENGLISH SYNONYMS

Pratisrutam-it is promised, Bhavata-by you, Panchalyai-unto the daughter of the king of Panchala (Droupadi), Srinwatam-which was heard, Mama-by me personally, Aharisheya-must I bring, Sirasam-the head, Tasya-of him, Yas-whom, te-your, Manini-consider, Putraha-the killer of your sons.

TRANSLATION

Lord Sri Krishna said, "You have also promised to Droupadi, which I have personally heard, that you would bring forth the head of the killer of the sons of Droupadi."
