Imported quote 19384 We have already discussed Karanodakasayi, who is the plenary portion of Sahkarsana. Now, from Karanodakasayi is Garbhodakasayi. Garbhodakasayi means this within the womb or bottom[?] of this universe, there is a ocean, big ocean, and in that ocean the plenary portion of Karanodakasayi Visnu enters. This is explained in the Bhagavad-gita, vistabhya aham idam krtsnam ekamsena sthito jagat [Bg 10.42]. By one portion, the Garbho..., er, Karanodakasayi Visnu enters each universe, and within that universe He creates a ocean by His perspiration.
