Visvam atma-gatam. This body, everyone's body, is also a small universe. Whatever the arrangement is there in this body, the similar arrangement is there in the whole universe. The principle is the same. The same arrangement is within the seed of a banyan tree. So these universes are also coming like a small seed. Therefore innumerable universes: yasyaika-nisvasita-kalam athavalambya [Bs 5.48]. From the breathing of Maha-Visnu, the small particles are coming, and they are developing into big manifestation of universal form. Similarly, our desire is also very small. We are very small, one ten-thousandth part of the tip of the hair. Still, we have got desires and everything. And according to the desire, as soon as there is creation, everything fructifies, everything comes out. It is called suptotthita-nyaya. Suptotthita-nyaya means just like one man is sleeping, and in the morning, when he is awakened... In the sleeping stage he forgot himself. He is wandering in dream, some other part of the world. He forgot this body and the bodily circumstances, everything. But as soon as he is awakened, he remembers everything. That darkness of ignorance, covering, is immediately gone, and he remembers that "I will have to do this. I will have to do that. I will have to go to my office or my business place." The millions of universes are coming out within His breathing period, and again they are annihilated when the breathing is taken inside. In this way the universes are coming out. Jagad-anḍa-nathaḥ. Jagad-anḍa-nathaḥ. Jagad-anḍa means the universe, and natha, the Lord of the universe, means Lord Brahma. So he has got a duration of life. And what is that duration of life? That is God, that by breathing, unlimited number of universes are coming out and going in. And the duration of existence of each and every universe is the duration of life of Brahma. That we cannot calculate. Even we cannot calculate his twelve hours. So that is God. We accept such kind of God, not a little magician. No. That is not possible. We cannot accept such cheap gods. We accept Krsna, the sarva-karana-karanam [Bs 5.1], and we want to be eternal servant.    (More...)

That is our actual position. Jivera svarūpa haya nitya-krsna-dasa [Cc Madhya 20.108-109]. By His unlimited potency, energy, unlimited universes are coming out with unlimited number of varieties of planet, and each planet is differently situated, different atmosphere, different temperature. So in this way varieties. That is ananda. Krsna has created these varieties because He is anandamayo 'bhyasat [Vedanta-sūtra 1.1.12]. Anandamaya. Unless there is variety... So we are part and parcel of that variety-maker. We are also one of the varieties, jiva-sakti. We are also one of the varieties. So how we can become variety-less, nirvisesa? That is not possible. Even artificially we try to become nirvisesa, variety-less, our constitutional position is that we want variety. How it can be stopped? Therefore in the sastra it is said, the so-called Mayavadi, impersonalist, monist, aruhya krcchrena param padam tataḥ [SB 10.2.32].    (More...)

They have no idea what is Bhagavan. This is one of the description of Maha-Visnu, that from His breathing, innumerable universes are coming out. When He is exhaling, the universes are coming out, and when He is inhaling, all, everything, is going within Him. This is Bhagavan. So anyway, this is partial exhibition of the energy of the Lord. And this is one-fourth energy. This material world is manifestation of His one-fourth energy. The three-fourth energies are in the spiritual world. So we have to know from the supreme authority or the Vedas. Then the knowledge will be perfect. Otherwise... So original creative energy is coming from this Karanabdhisayi Visnu. This is confirmed in Brahma-samhita. Yasyaika-nisvasita-kalam athavalambya jivanti loma-vilaja jagad-anḍa-nathaḥ [Bs 5.48]. The jagad-anḍa-nathaḥ... Here it is also said, ajanḍa. Jagad-anḍa or ajanḍa, the same thing, or brahmanḍa, the same meaning. Aja means Brahma. So the Brahma is the head of this anḍa. It is egglike. This whole universe is like an egg, anḍa. So as from the anḍa, from the egg, a bird is coming out, similarly, from this egglike substance, Aja has come. Aja means who does not take birth like other, human being or animals, but from this anḍa. So the Karanabdhisayi Visnu another name is ajanḍa ahghasrayanda. His whole body is producing universes. Ajanḍa-sahghasraya. Sahghasraya means aggregate, congregation. Just like we have got holes on the body, pores in the body. So we do not know even how many pores are there in my body, but it is a fact. We cannot, even in a localized head, we cannot count how many pores are there from which the hairs are coming.
