So practical example... Just like this Krsna consciousness movement. I am insignificant human being; what can I do? But I tried my best because my spiritual master said that "You go and try to preach in English." So I tried my best, that's all. I had no qualification. So this is very nice point, yasya prasadat. We have to try our best to... I may not be able to do that, but that endeavor will be appreciated by Krsna and the spiritual master. That is required. I may be most incompetent. Everyone is incompetent. Who can satisfy Krsna, this unlimited? But simply what Krsna says, if we do, that will satisfy Him. Prabhupada: Yes. This is the order. Guru-mukha-padma-vakya, cittete kariya aikya. Now, citta means consciousness, or heart. "I shall do this only, that's all. My Guru Maharaja told me; I shall do this." Cittete kariya aikya, ara na kariha mane asa. So this is fact. Guru-mukha-padma-vakya, cittete koriya aikya. Everyone should do that. But if he makes addition, alteration, then he is finished. No addition, alteration. You have to approach guru-guru means the faithful servant of God, Krsna-and take his word how to serve Him. Practiced..., we are practiced to so many bad habits life after life in this material condition. So sometimes, one who is engaged in devotional service to the Lord may, on account of old practice, he commits some sinful activities. Krsna forgives him. He knows that he is sincere, but on account of his old practice, he has done something mistake. There is a verse, saḥ pada-mūlam bhajatam priyasya. Somehow or other, you become recognized by Krsna, priya. Krsna may know that "He is sincerely trying to do something for render..." Krsna does not require your service or my service. He is self-sufficient. If we render service, that is for..., that is good for us. Krsna, He recognizes, "Oh, now he has again begun service. That's nice." So to such person Krsna excuses. So whatever little success I have got, it is only for this reason. My Guru Maharaja said that "You go and preach whatever you learned in English language." That's all. So I came here with this faith, that "My Guru Maharaja said. I must be successful." I did not show any jugglery to you, gold-making jugglery. Where is my gold? I came with forty rupees first. [chuckles] So these are Vedic instruction, guru-mukha-padma-vakya, and sri-guru-carane rati, ei se uttama-gati. That is real progress. So this is Vedic instruction.
