So actually it is happening. We are not wonderful men. But our only business is that we are speaking only the same thing as Krsna has spoken. That's all. There is no magic. This is the magic. If you adulterate nonsensically like a rascal, then you cannot become a spiritual master. If you simply follow what Krsna has spoken, then you become spiritual master. Very simple thing. It doesn't require education. You can hear from your spiritual master what has Krsna said. It doesn't require even literacy. There are many great personalities, saintly person. My Guru Maharaja's Guru Maharaja, he was illiterate, Gaura Krsna [sic] dasa Babaji Maharaja. He could not sign even his name. But my Guru Maharaja was the best scholar of his time. First of all make yourself perfect. You can make yourself perfect because in the Bharata-varsa there are this Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Vedic literature. Just study them. And therefore we are publishing so many books on the basis of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, and people are appreciating very much all over the world. So it is the duty of every Indian to make his life perfect by understanding Bhagavad-gita at least, and spread the message. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission. Yare dekha tare kaha krsna-upadesa [Cc Madhya 7.128]. Every one of you can become a guru. He says that. Amara ajnaya guru hana tara' ei desa. Wherever you are, you can deliver the persons, surrounding person in your neighborhood. "How can I become guru? I have no qualification." No. There is no need of qualification. Simply repeat. Yare dekha tare kaha krsna-upadesa [Cc Madhya 7.128]. Very simple thing. Anyone you meet: "My dear friend, just hear little." "What is that?" "Now, Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You kindly think of Krsna. Just offer your obeisances to Krsna, just become a bhakta and chant His holy name." Bas. Your gurugiri is finished. So it is not very difficult task. Anyone can do this. You have simply to say krsna-katha." These two krsna-katha-you have nothing to manufacture. You haven't got to tax your brain by meditation, by speculation. Everything is there. You have simply to place, submit, "Here is krsna-katha. Here is Bhagavad-gita and here is Bhagavata. Just please hear." That is your business.    (More...)

So these books, Srimad-Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-gita, are there, and many other books, Puranas and others. They are simply describing the activities of Krsna so that you can understand Krsna. That... There is a verse in Caitanya-caritamrta: anadi bahirmukha jiva nahi jnana, krsna..., means, "From since a very, very long time, he has forgotten Krsna." Just like anyone you can ask, in this country even, and what to speak of others, that "Do you know Krsna?" So you'll find so many, I mean to say, major portion people, will say, "No, we do not know what is Krsna." Just like our Syamasundara's daughter, Sarasvati. She preaches, "Do you know what is Krsna?" Even one knows, because he [she] is child: "No, no. I do not know." "Oh, Supreme Personality of Godhead," she will say. She is so intelligent. She will say. So similarly, we can do. We can do Krsna's service like this. Even a child can do. You go. As Caitanya Mahaprabhu says, yare dekha tare kaha krsna-upadesa [Cc Madhya 7.128]. That becomes... You becomes spiritual master. And the very simple thing is that ya idam guhyam mad-bhaktesv abhidhasyati. This confidential service, preaching of Bhagavad-gita... What is that? Bhagavad-gita preaching essence: sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja [Bg 18.66]. Simply go and preach. This very thing. Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam namaskuru [Bg 18.65]. This is Krsna's desire. Preach to the world, "Just be Krsna conscious." Man-manaḥ. "Just become Krsna's devotee." Man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji. "Just worship Krsna." Mad-yaji mam... "Just offer your obeisances to Krsna." Four words. Then you become a preacher. So Krsna is describing Himself, krsna-katha. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's mission is therefore krsna-katha. Yare dekha tare kaha krsna-katha, krsna-upadesa [Cc Madhya 7.128]. Krsna-upadesa. This is the mission. What Krsna says, you just preach; you become spiritual master. That is not very difficult. Everyone can become spiritual master. Krsna's speaking is there in the Bhagavad-gita. You simply repeat what Krsna says, you become spiritual master. It is not very difficult. Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam; you simply say that "You become devotee of Krsna." Where is the difficulty? No difficulty. Krsna says, man-mana bhaktaḥ; you say, "You become Krsna's bhakta." Actually we are doing that. We are not doing any miraculous thing. People say that "Swamiji, you have done miracles." But what miracles I have done? I am simply repeating Krsna's words. That's all. So everyone can do that. The next line is, gaurahgera sahgi-gane. Sahgi-gane means "associates." Lord Caitanya is always associated: He is not alone. We never see a picture of Lord Caitanya alone. At least there must be Lord Nityananda or Gadadhara Panḍita. Actually, wherever Lord Caitanya was present, many thousands of devotees would assemble. Such devotees, especially those who were His nearest intimate associates, were nitya-siddha. In the devotional line there are three kinds of perfect devotees. One is called sadhana-siddha. This refers to a person who has very rigidly performed the regulative prescriptions and thereby reached the perfectional stage. Reaching the perfectional stage by executing the regulative principles is called sadhana-siddha. There is another kind of devotee who is called krpa-siddha. He may not have executed the regulative principles very rigidly, but by his service mood he is specifically blessed by the spiritual master or Krsna. He is immediately promoted to the perfectional stage. This is called krpa-siddha. Nitya-siddha is one who was never contaminated by the material nature. The sadhana-siddhas and the krpa-siddhas were supposed to have once been in the contamination of material nature, but nitya-siddhas never came into contact with the material nature. All the associates of Caitanya Mahaprabhu are nitya-siddhas, or eternally perfect. Nityananda Prabhu is Balarama, the immediate expansion of Krsna; Advaita Prabhu is Maha-Visnu (He is also visnu-tattva); Gadadhara Prabhu is an expansion of Radharani; and Srivasa is an incarnation of Narada.
