In a pioneer situation people are very barbaric, struggle for existence-you know, you're in the country, there is no road, there's no cities-everyone is very..., simply interested to maintain themselves. But by churches and things of this nature, people saw the need for a civilized give-and-take way of living-economic development. Then gradually the ideas developed further and further. But in modern days we can see that people are having economic development and there's no need for God. They think, at least. In other words, people are no longer attending churches, synagogues, things of this nature, because they are making sufficient money without the need of religion.
