TRANSLATION

The river (on which the king sat up for fasting) is carrying the most auspicious water mixed up with dust of the Lotus Feet of the Lord and Tulasi leaves and therefore it sanctifies the three worlds inside and outside along with Lord Shiva and other demigods. As such everyone who is destined to die must take shelter of this river.
