The Vedic scriptures state that although people look for pleasure in many ways-through money, through fame, through love, or in some other way-the essence of what they are looking for is Krsna, the source of all pleasure, the embodiment of eternity, bliss and knowledge. Originally, in pure consciousness, we have a loving relationship with Krsna in which we share His qualities, but now we have forgotten it. When we revive that loving relationship, however, all our desires will be satisfied.
