My Dear Rupanuga,
Please accept my blessings., I am now at the Ardha Kumbha Mela at Prayag. We have come wholes party and our camp is admitted as the most popular and attractive in the very large gathering. Our preaching work is going on and now our Society is registered in Bombay and also we have got tax exemption and a new flat on the seventh floor of a prominent building in Bombay for our West Indian Offices. I beg to acknowledge receipt of your recent letter from London dated 6th January, and also your joint letter from Hayagriva dated 30th December 1970.
I am very glad that you have gone to London. Now I am awaiting your next report. I was very anxious for, you to oversee things there for some time and, now I am encouraged to know that London temple is going nicely with a few problems of management only. So regulate their management. That will be nice. Whatever defects there may be, adjust and go ahead. Recruit more members and open more centers. And increase distribution of Literatures as far as possible, especially KRSNA book.
Please encourage the translation departments in both French and German languages to increase their output. People everywhere are very eager to have our literatures and we must be able to supply the demand in all foreign languages as required by them. That is very important business. I know our men are capable, but they need some organization. So you arrange these things nicely with the cooperation of Mandali Bhadra Prabhu and his good wife. They are both very enthusiastic in this work.
I am probably returning to the U.S.A, sometime in March. In the meantime, our tour of Indict is going on and we are receiving almost daily invitation for travelling to some other place for Samkirtan and preaching work. Our Movement is being appreciated by the thoughtful men of the society and they are also trying to help us.
We have got invitation to visit Jerusalem also and start one center there.
Please offer my blessings to all the devotees there.
Hope this will meet you in good health.
Your ever well-wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

N.B. Regarding the proposal for printing 500,000 copies of "Back to Godhead" what is the down payment actually and how is the scheme for returning the money? What is reason for scarcity at the present moment?
