My Dear Rupanuga,
Please accept my blessings. The day before yesterday I received one letter from you, but someway or other it is missing.
So far I remember the contents of the letter, the Sannyasis can travel by trucks and cars very easily. That was sanctioned by my Guru Maharaj. You are true when you say that in this country such travelling is necessary, but I think it is true everywhere. According to Srila Rupa Gosvami's instruction we shall not simply be adherent to the rules sacrificing the cause. So I hope you will understand the matter right.
Regarding DDD's and Ekendra's worship of Lord Jagannatha, they should never be discouraged, but they may be allowed to execute their function outside the main Temple room. Otherwise, everyone should be encouraged to arouse his dormant love of Krsna--that is our main function. When one is awakened in his love of Krsna automatically the rules and regulations become coordinated.
Regarding the KRSNA book, second volume, I am awaiting the manuscript and as soon as it arrives I shall take the necessary steps. In the meantime, I have ordered from the Dia Nippon Printing Company $32,000 worth order. Out of that $5,000 I have advanced and I have also opened an account with them called the Bhaktivedanta Book Fund Deposit.
Hope this meets you in good health.
Your ever well-wisher,
A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami
