patim vijnapayam asur
yamam samyamani-patim
SYNONYMS
sri-sukah uvacaSukadeva Gosvami said; bhagavat-purusaihby the order carriers of the Lord, the Visnudutas; rajanO King; yamyahthe order carriers of Yamaraja; pratihata-udyamahwhose efforts were defeated; patimtheir master; vijnapayam asuhinformed; yamamYamaraja; samyamani-patimthe master of the city Samyamani.
TRANSLATION
Sri Sukadeva Gosvami replied: My dear King, when the order carriers of Yamaraja were baffled and defeated by the order carriers of Visnu, they approached their master, the controller of Samyamani-puri and master of sinful persons, to tell him of this incident.
