atikāla haila, loka chāḍiyā nā yāya
tabe nityānanda-gosāñi sṛjilā upāya
SYNONYMS
atikāla—very late; haila—it was; loka—the people in general; chāḍiyā—giving up; yāya—do not go; tabe—at that time; nityānanda—Śrīla Nityānanda Prabhu; gosāñi—the spiritual master; sṛjilā—invented; upāya—a means.
TRANSLATION
Seeing that it was already getting late, Lord Nityānanda Prabhu, the spiritual master, invented a means to disperse the crowd.
