tabe mukunda datta kahe,--'śuna, mahāśaya
gaṅgā-tīra yāite mahāprabhura mana haya
SYNONYMS
tabe—thereafter; mukunda datta kaheMukunda Datta, a devotee of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, said; śuna mahāśaya—my dear sir, kindly hear me; gaṅgā-tīra yāite—to go to the bank of the Ganges; mahāprabhura—of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; mana—the mind or desire; haya—is.
TRANSLATION
Mukunda Datta then told the Mohammedan governor, "My dear sir, please hear. Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu wishes to go to the bank of the Ganges.
