jale nami' dadhi-cida karaye bhaksana
SYNONYMS
tireon the bank; sthanaplace; na pananot having gotten; araother; katasome; janapersons; jale nami'-getting down into the water; dadhi-cidayogurt and chipped rice; karaye bhaksanabegan to eat.
TRANSLATION
Others, who could not get a place even on the bank of the Ganges, got down into the water and began eating their two kinds of chipped rice.
