গো-অঙ্গে যত লোম, তত সহস্র বৎসর ।
গোবধী রৌরব-মধ্যে পচে নিরন্তর ॥ ১৬৬ ॥

go-ahge yata loma, tata sahasra vatsara

go-vadhi raurava-madhye pace nirantara

SYNONYMS

go-ahge-on the body of the cow; yata-as many; loma-hairs; tata-so many; sahasra-a thousand; vatsara-years; go-vadhi-the killer of a cow; raurava-madhye-in a hellish condition of life; pace-decomposes; nirantara-always.

TRANSLATION

"Cow killers are condemned to rot in hellish life for as many thousands of years as there are hairs on the body of the cow.
