bheri-damarinam mahan
hasty-asva-ratha-pattinam
nadatam nisvano bhavat
SYNONYMS
sankhaof conchshells; turyaof big bugles; mrdanganamand of drums; bheriof bugles; damarinamof kettledrums; mahangreat and tumultuous; hastiof elephants; asvaof horses; ratha-pattinamof fighters on chariots or on the ground; nadatamall of them making sounds together; nisvanaha tumultuous sound; abhavatso became.
TRANSLATION
The sounds of the conchshells, bugles, drums, bheris and damaris [kettledrums], as well as the sounds made by the elephants, horses and soldiers, who were both on chariots and on foot, were tumultuous.
