জগন্নাথের ব্রাহ্মণী, তেঁহ - মহা-পতিব্রতা ।
বাৎসল্যে হয়েন তেঁহ যেন জগন্মাতা ॥ ২৯৭ ॥

jagannathera brahmani, teṅha-maha-pativrata

vatsalye hayena teṅha yena jagan-mata

SYNONYMS

jagannathera-of Jagannatha Misra; brahmani-wife; teṅha-she; maha-great; pati-vrata-devoted to her husband; vatsalye-in affection; hayena-was; teṅha-she; yena-as if; jagat-mata-the mother of the whole universe.

TRANSLATION

Sri Raṅga Puri also remembered the wife of Jagannatha Misra. She was very devoted and chaste. As for her affection, she was exactly like the mother of the universe.
