patra pana viprera haila anandita mana
prabhura carane dhari' karaye krandana
SYNONYMS
patra panagetting the leaves; vipreraof the brahmana; hailathere was; ananditapleased; manamind; prabhura caranethe lotus feet of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; dhari'-taking; karayedoes; krandanacrying.
TRANSLATION
Ramadasa Vipra was very much pleased to receive the original leaf manuscript of the Kurma Purana, and he immediately fell down before the lotus feet of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and began to cry.
