ভক্তগণ উপবাসী তাহাঁই রহিলা ।
আর দিনে দুঃখী হঞা নীলাচলে আইলা ॥ ৯৪ ॥

bhakta-gana upavasi tahaṅi rahila

ara dine duhkhi hana nilacale aila

SYNONYMS

bhakta-gana-the devotees; upavasi-fasting; tahaṅi-there; rahila-remained; ara dine-on the next day; duhkhi-unhappy; hana-becoming; nilacale-to Jagannatha Puri; aila-returned.

TRANSLATION

All the devotees remained there and fasted, but the next day they all unhappily returned to Jagannatha Puri.
