eka-dina anna ane dasa-bisa jane
dine tata laya, yata khaya dui jane
SYNONYMS
eka-dinain one day; annafood; anebrought; dasa-bisa janeenough for ten to twenty men; dinein a day; tata layawould accept only as much; yataas; khaya dui janethe two of them required to eat.
TRANSLATION
"In one day enough food was brought for ten or twenty people, but the hunter and his wife would accept only as much as they could eat.
