maha-patra anila tanre kariya sammana
yoda-hate prabhu-age laya krsna-nama
SYNONYMS
maha-patrathe Orissan representative; anilabrought; tanrehim; kariya sammanashowing great respect; yoda-hatewith folded hands; prabhu-agebefore Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; laya krsna-namachanted the holy name of Krsna.
TRANSLATION
Arriving in that way, the Mohammedan governor was respectfully brought before Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu by the maha-patra. The governor then stood before the Lord with folded hands, and he chanted the holy name of Krsna.
