yadyapi gosani tare hanache santosa
dharma-samsthapana lagi' bahire maha-rosa
SYNONYMS
yadyapialthough; gosanithe Lord; tarewith him; hanachebecame; santosasatisfied; dharma-samsthapana lagi'-for establishing the etiquette of religious principles; bahireexternally; maha-rosavery angry.
TRANSLATION
Although the Lord was certainly satisfied with him, He became angry externally in order to establish the etiquette of religious principles.
