বসি' কৃষ্ণনাম মাত্র করিয়ে গ্রহণে ।
সংখ্যা-নাম পূর্ণ মোর নহে রাত্রি-দিনে ॥ ৮৩ ॥

vasi' krsna-nama matra kariye grahane

saṅkhya-nama purna mora nahe ratri-dine

SYNONYMS

vasi'-sitting; krsna-nama-the holy name of Lord Krsna; matra-simply; kariye grahane-I chant; saṅkhya-nama-a fixed number of rounds; purna-complete; mora-My; nahe-is not; ratri-dine-throughout the entire day and night.

TRANSLATION

"I simply sit and try to chant the holy name of Krsna, and although I chant all day and night, I nevertheless cannot complete the chanting of my prescribed number of rounds."
