thakura kahe,--"aiche vat kahite na yuyaya
ami--nica-jati, tumi--susajjana raya"
SYNONYMS
thakura kaheJhadu Thakura said; aiche vatsuch a request; kahite na yuyayashould not be spoken; amiI; nica-jaticoming from a family of a very low caste; tumiyou; su-sat-jana rayavery respectable and rich gentleman.
TRANSLATION
Jhadu Thakura replied, "It does not befit you to ask this of me. I belong to a very low-caste family, whereas you are a respectable rich gentleman."
