dui sloka kahi' prabhura haila maha-sukha
nija-bhaktera guna kahe hana panca-mukha
SYNONYMS
dui sloka kahi'-reciting two verses; prabhuraof Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu; hailathere was; maha-sukhagreat pleasure; nija-bhakteraof His own devotee; gunathe qualities; kahedescribes; hanaas if becoming; panca-mukhafive-mouthed.
TRANSLATION
When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu recited the two important verses, He felt great pleasure; thus, as if He had five mouths, He began to praise His devotee.
PURPORT
The two verses referred to are those beginning with priyah so 'yam (79) and tunde tandavini (99).
